Treatise on the Qi Mansions

The qi of the Foot Taiyang channel issues forth at seventy-eight acupoints: one point at each inner eyebrow; from the center of the brow entering the hairline to the nape, a distance of three and a half cun, there are five points on each side, spaced three cun apart. The qi vessels floating in the skin form five lines, each line having five points, making twenty-five points in total. One point lies on each side of the large sinew at the nape, and one point on each side of Fengfu. Following the spine downward to the coccyx, there are twenty-one segments; between each fifteenth vertebra, one point exists. The five zang organs each have five shu points, the six fu organs each have six shu points. Below Weizhong down to the side of the little toe, there are six shu points on each side.

The qi of the Foot Shaoyang channel issues forth at sixty-two acupoints: two points on each frontal eminence; five points on each side within the hairline directly above the eyes; one point on each side above the frontal angle before the ear; one point on each side below the frontal angle before the ear; one point on each side below the sharp hair; one point on each side at Kezhuren; one point on each side in the depression behind the ear; one point on each side at Xiaguan; one point on each side below the ear behind the cheekbone; one point on each side at Quepen; one point on each side three cun below the armpit, from the ribs to the flank, every eight cun; one point on each side beside the pivot of the thigh; from the knee down to the second toe of the foot, six shu points on each side.

The qi of the Foot Yangming channel issues forth at sixty-eight acupoints: three points on each side beside the forehead hairline; one point on each side at the nasal bone hollow of the face; one point on each side at the bone hollow of Daying; one point on each side at Renying; one point on each side at the bone hollow outside Quepen; one point on each side between the breastbone depressions; five points on each side beside the sternum tip, directly below the nipple at three cun; five points on each side beside the stomach duct; three points on each side beside the navel, three cun lateral; three points on each side two cun below the navel; one point on each side at the moving vessel of Qijie; one point on each side above Futu; from Sanli down to the middle toe of the foot, eight shu points on each side, distributed among the various hollows.

The qi of the Hand Taiyang channel issues forth at thirty-six acupoints: one point at each inner canthus; one point at each outer canthus; one point at each side below the nasal bone; one point at each side above the ear cartilage; one point at each side inside the ear; one point at each side at Jugu; one point at each side on the bone above the bent armpit; one point at each side in the depression above the pillar bone; one point at each side four cun above Tianchuang; one point at each side at the shoulder joint; one point at each side three cun below the shoulder joint; from the elbow down to the knuckle of the little finger, six shu points on each side.

The qi of the Hand Yangming channel issues forth at twenty-two acupoints: two points on each side at the outer edge of the nasal hollow and the nape; one point at each side at the bone hollow of Daying; one point at each side at the meeting of the pillar bones; one point at each side at the meeting of the scapular bone; from the elbow down to the knuckle of the index finger, six shu points on each side.

The qi of the Hand Shaoyang channel issues forth at thirty-two acupoints: one point at each side below the nasal bone; one point at each side behind the eyebrow; one point at each side on the corner; one point at each side behind the lower mastoid process; one point at each side in the nape, anterior to the Foot Taiyang channel; one point at each side beside Futu; one point at each side at Jianzhen; one point at each side three cun below Jianzhen in the intermuscular space; from the elbow down to the knuckle of the ring finger, six shu points on each side.

The qi of the Du channel issues forth at twenty-eight acupoints: two points in the center of the nape; eight points behind the hairline; three points in the center of the face; from Dazhui downward to the coccyx and its sides, fifteen points; reaching below the sacrum, there are twenty-one segments in total; this is the method for locating points on the spine.

The qi of the Ren channel issues forth at twenty-eight acupoints: two points in the center of the throat; one point in each depression of the breastbone; from below the sternum tip at three cun, to the stomach duct at five cun, and from the stomach duct downward to the pubic bone at six and a half cun, one point at each interval; this is the method for locating points on the abdominal channel. One point separates below the genitals; one point at each side below the eyes; one point on the lower lip; one point at the gum junction.

The qi of the Chong channel issues forth at twenty-two acupoints: one point at each cun beside the sternum tip, half a cun lateral, down to the navel; one point at each cun beside the area below the navel, five fen lateral, down to the pubic bone; this is the method for locating points on the abdominal channel.

The Foot Shaoyin channel has a point below the tongue; the Jueyin channel has one point at the urgent vessel in the pubic region; the Hand Shaoyin channel has one point; the Yin and Yang Qiao channels each have one point; the points where qi issues from the fish margins of the hands and feet, totaling three hundred and sixty-five acupoints.
