Qian

Preface: The poem "Qian" is a festive song sung when fish are presented in the last month of winter and sturgeon in spring.

How lovely are the waters of the Qi and Ju, where many fish lie hidden—eels, sturgeons, white bream, yellow-jaw fish, catfish, and carp.

With these fish we offer and sacrifice, praying for great blessings.

The chapter "Qian" consists of six lines.
