Mooring at Night in Xuyi County (Wei Yingwu: Mooring at Night in Xuyi County)
Chapter 27
Lowering the sail, I moor by the Huai River town,
Tying the boat beside a lonely post station.
A vast wind stirs waves, the sky darkens as the sun sinks into twilight.
People return, the mountain town grows dim,
Wild geese descend to a white sandbar thick with reeds.
In the lonely night, I long for the passes of Qin,
Listening to the bell, a traveler unable to sleep.
