Spring Day Boating on Ruoye Creek (Qi Wuqian, Spring Day Boating on Ruoye Creek)
Chapter 35
The quiet delight never ends; this journey lets the boat drift as it pleases. The evening breeze caresses the moving skiff, entering the Ruoye Creek mouth along a flower-lined waterway. As night falls, the boat turns into the western valley, gazing across the ridges at the Southern Dipper. Mist hovers over the pool, and the moon hangs low among the trees, seeming to recede. Human affairs are ever tangled and vast; I wish only to be an old man holding a fishing pole.
